The shear butt welding machine is composed of herringbone hydraulic shear, front centering splint, rear centering splint, front moving splint, rear moving splint, welding table and front and rear welding platen, welding gap forming mechanism, welding system, weld edge grinding device and hydraulic system. The herringbone hydraulic shear is composed of plate head shear and plate tail shear. The plate head shear and plate tail shear have the same structure and are composed of upper and lower shear blades, upper and lower shear frames and spring pressure plates. The front centering splint and the rear centering splint have the same structure and are composed of splint and idler. The clamping plate is driven by the oil cylinder to align the synchronous gear rack. The front moving splint and the rear moving splint have the same structure and are composed of hydraulic pressing splint and electric traverse device.The welding pad and welding gun are arranged at the center of the butt welding device. The shear mechanism is not perpendicular to the rolling line and is placed at an angle of 87 °. The end of the steel coil plate reaches the end of the plate shear, the rear centering clamp plate is aligned, the rear moving clamp plate is pressed down, the plate head of the next coil reaches the end of the plate shear, the front centering clamp plate is aligned, the front moving clamp plate is pressed down, and the position of the front and rear clamping plates is adjusted horizontally. It is the alignment of the plate head and end of the plate, the scissors cut off the plate head and end, the plate head and end feeding mechanism sends the plate head and end to the welding table to form the set weld gap, the front and rear welding plates are pressed down, the welding system works, and the plate head and end are butt welded.
