Our company can provide one-stop solution for bimetallic composite pipe factory.
Bimetallic composite steel pipe is a new type of composite water supply pipe that is strongly fitted with galvanized steel pipe or welded pipe, seamless steel pipe and thinner stainless-steel pipe. It is also a more ideal pipeline upgrade product. It retains the inherent advantages of two different materials, complements their inherent deficiencies, and follows the traditional mature installation method and process of galvanized steel pipes, so it is convenient, reliable, hygienic and safe in use. According to the difference in the material selection between the base pipe and the liner pipe, and the improvement of the manufacturing process, there have been many manufacturers of bimetallic composite pipes widely used in the oil field, chemical industry, electric power and other industrial fields. The economic, environmental and social benefits are also more obvious.
Product Details
The basic principle of bimetallic composite steel pipe: the outer base pipe is responsible for the pressure and the rigid support of the pipeline, and the inner liner pipe bears the functions of corrosion resistance and wear resistance.
The outer base pipe can select carbon steel pipes with different diameters and wall thicknesses according to the flow and pressure requirements of the transport medium. Hot dip galvanized steel pipe, straight seam welded pipe, spiral pipe, seamless steel pipe for low and medium pressure fluid transportation, high pressure boiler, seamless steel pipe for petroleum cracking, line pipe, etc. The diameter is generally in the range of φ20-φ1020 mm, and the wall thickness is generally in the range of 2.5-50 mm.
The inner liner can choose different corrosion-resistant alloys according to the chemical composition of the conveying medium. It can be austenitic stainless steel 304, 304 L, 316, 316 L, copper-based alloy, nickel-based alloy, hastelloy, titanium, titanium alloy, duplex stainless steel and other new high-corrosion resistant alloy materials. The wall thickness of the liner can be designed to be about 0.3-5 mm according to the requirements of service life and welding process.
Modes of Production
1.Lining Compound
By putting a thin-walled stainless steel pipe into a carbon steel pipe, and then closely fitting the two materials in two ways, one is metallurgical compounding, the two materials are metallurgically compounded together by high pressure of underwater blasting, and the adhesion of metallurgical compounding The bonding strength is very high, and the two materials will not peel off; the other is mechanical compounding. The two materials are bonded together by means of water pressure, spinning, drawing, etc., but the bonding force is much lower than that of metallurgical compounding.
The advantages of metallurgical compounding are many, but due to the complex process and huge investment, it is difficult for ordinary enterprises to implement. The mechanical compound investment is relatively small, but the compound strength is low and the use occasion is limited. The production method of lining compound is single production, so the output is relatively low and the price is relatively expensive.

2. Inner Composite
By purchasing steel coils that have been metallurgically compounded in the steel plant, welding is carried out using special continuous production units and special welding techniques, and continuous production of composite pipes is carried out. The biggest advantage of this production method is that the metallurgical compound with the most difficult manufacturability is completed in a large steel mill. The pipe factory directly buys composite steel plates and steel coils for production. The production method of steel pipes is free of manual methods, suitable for industrial production and large output. The disadvantage is that the price of composite steel plates and steel coils is more expensive than that of two layers of steel pipes.
Inner composite units are divided into spiral composite units and straight slit composite units. Straight joint compound units are suitable for pipes with a diameter of less than 630, and spiral compound units are suitable for pipes with a diameter of more than 219.
