Round-to-Square Mill without Changing Rollers is a new product developed by us. When changing product specifications, all parts of the molding machine do not need to change rollers, and in the past, the precision molding machine stand that requires to change rollers does not need to change rolls on the mill. The sizing part undertakes the work of changing round to square. We adopt new technology, and it is not necessary to change rollers for the round-to-square part of sizing machine, which can save a lot of roller investment and is specially suitable for large- and medium-sized mills. When changing product specifications, the adjustment of roller is also automated. Only by inputting parameters such as pipe diameter, wall thickness and material on the industrial computer, all rollers will be automatically adjusted to the appropriate position, and the feeding production will be started directly. Thus, a lot of adjustment time is saved when changing models, which makes multi-variety and small batch order production possible, increases the operation rate of the mill, and improves the startup rate of the mill. And, the model can be changed by computer automatically to make the adjustment accurate, reduce the error of manual adjustment, improve the finished product rate of the mill and increase the economic benefit of the mill.
There are two different technologies for making square pipes: 1. The cold forming technology of direct square forming is widely used in China, because the technology can produce square tubes of different specifications with one set of rollers, saving a lot of roller investment. However, the products produced by the technology have the defects of uneven four rounded corners and insufficient rounded corners, so this kind of square pipe products are basically not recognized abroad except for sales in China, so they are difficult to be exported. 2. The production technology of changing from round to square is widely used abroad. The products produced by the technology have full rounded corners, uniform four corners and beautiful appearance. However, the mill also has some shortcomings. In the previous mill, due to technical limitations, a set of rollers should be replaced for each square tube of specifications, which leads to a large investment in rollers and time-consuming and laborious replacement of specifications. We have solved this problem by adopting new technology. By solving this problem, the mill only needs to replace the welding rollers, but all the other rollers do not need to be replaced. The change of specifications is controlled by computer, which can not only avoid a lot of roller investment, but also produce high-quality square pipe products, so that it is an excellent square pipe mill. The mill can produce excellent export rectangular tubes, and can also produce rectangular tubes for ordinary structures.
